Leonard H. Alley

Leonard Hampton Alley, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Tuesday, October 20, 2009. He was born September 19, 1935 a son of the late Clyde and Willie Alley. He was a beloved husband and father. Surviving are his wife, Naomi Alley; three sons, Brian Alley, Jeff Alley and friend Lisa, Greg Alley and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Roxie and Billy Patsel of Roanoke, Dwayne, Alana, Alex, and Gavin Alley; brothers, Clyde Alley, Jr., Clinton Alley and wife Erma; sisters, Louise Hodges, Jean Miller and husband Willie; special nephew, Clayton Hodges. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. David Jones and Dr. Billy Shively officiating. Interment will follow in the Hodges-Alley family cemetery. His family will be receiving friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
