Lera France Quinn

Lera France Quinn, age 100 of Glade Hill died Monday, July 12, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Posey and Loutitia France; husband, Thomas Quinn; daughter, Ruby Potter; grandson, Anthony Quinn; sisters, Myrtle Martin and Avis Gunter; and brothers, Coy and Frank France. Surviving are her daughters, Peggy Clingenpeel, Betty Worley, Barbara Mattox and Audrey Peters; one son, Buddy Quinn; sister, Mary Cannaday; brother, Cecil France; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 3 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Dr. Clay E. Peters, II officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 1-3 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
