Lewis Carroll Altice, Jr.

Lewis Carroll Altice, Jr., age 78 of Glade Hill died Sunday, August 18, 2019. He was born on August 23, 1940 and was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Carroll Altice, Sr.; mother, Dortharine Altice Altice; and great-grandson, Thomas Alexander Berg. He is survived by one son, Rickey Lee Altice and wife Bonnie; one daughter, Linda Dale Hodges; four grandchildren, Crystal Diane Berg, Danny Wayne Guthrie, Brandon Lee Altice (Kristen) and David Lee Guthrie (Bethany); great-grandchildren, Destiny Nicole Berg, Zoe Renee Berg, Jason Lee Altice, Madelyn Nicole Smith, Jacob Keith Altice, Hayden Leigh Guthrie; and sister, Shirley Ann Dent (Alton). Memorial services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. His family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
