Lewis Franklin Morris

Lewis Franklin Morris, age 62 of Snow Creek passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Royce F. Morris and brother, Gary E. Morris. He was a United States Army Veteran and the owner of Lewis Morris Logging but his favorite job was being "Papa" to his three precious grandchildren, Tyler Jordan, Haley Morris, and Isaiah Jordan. In addition to his grandchildren, Lewis is survived by his life long companion Gusta Morris, children Cynthia and Steve Jordan and William and Taria Morris, his mother Louise G Morris, brother Carroll W Morris, nieces Rita and Taylor Hill, and very special caregiver, Lydia Border. The family will receive friends at the home of Cynthia and Steve Jordan (460 Airport Road). Graveside services will be private. Lewis requested no flowers and the family asks that memorials be made to Good Samaritan Hospice (2408 Electric Road, Roanoke, VA 24018.)
