Lillian Anderson Parcell

Lillian Anderson Parcell, age 80 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, July 30, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Kate Anderson; brothers, William, Tillie, Jessie, Roy and Bradie Anderson; sisters, Elsie Evans and Mildred Anderson; precious grandsons, Chris Finney and Jason Richards. Surviving are her loving husband, Bobby Parcell, daughters, Deloras Whitt (Tom), Debra Holmes (Bill); son, Jay Richards (Ann); step-daughter, Sally Starling, granddaughters, Michelle Clements (John), Tommie Dawson (Jason), Sarah Starling, grandson, Shad Finney (Dusty), great grandsons, Brandon and Cole Willard, great- granddaughters, Jessica and Hannah Clements, Emerson Dawson, great-great grandchildren Ty and Sadie Willard and Aubrey Finney, brother, Floyd Anderson (Sandy), sister-in-law, Buna Anderson, many special nieces, nephews and friends. Lillian was a long-time member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife and mother who will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be conducted at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 with Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Anderson Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorials be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church, c/o Rita Doughton, Treas., 2085 Crooked Oak Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
