Linda Lee Hodges, age 59 of Rocky Mount, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2009.
She worked many years at Leggett Department Store and Peebles Department Store of Rocky Mount.
She was preceded in death by her father, Teddy Nelson Hodges; brother, William Nelson Hodges; life partner, Larry Beckner.
Linda is survived by her son, Teddy Rae Hodges; two very special granddaughters, Sydney Rae Hodges, Brittnay Fallon Marie Hodges; mother, Gladys Shoemaker Hodges; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gerry and Allen Hodges, Joyce and A. Moody; brother, Jackie Hodges; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Dr. J. Cecil Riley officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Saturday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
