Linda Lynch Jones

Linda Lynch Jones, 59, of Rocky Mount, passed away Friday February 9, 2007. She was preceded in death by her father Dalton Lynch and sister Elizabeth Williford. Linda worked for Select Sires for forty years. She loved dancing and car races. She is survived by her husband, Nelson Elwood Jones; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Gerry Williams; grandchildren, Kealey and Hayden Williams; mother, Edith Lynch; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Brenda Lynch; nephew, Joshua Lynch; brother-in-law, John Williford; niece, Jessica Williford; mother-in-law, Virginia Jones; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Franklin County Chapter of Relay for Life, c/o Sue Jones 2661 B.T. Washington Hwy, Rocky Mount, Va., 24151 or to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 3907 Martinsville, Va., 24115. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Joe Dillon officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call after 4 p.m. on Sunday with her family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
