Linda Mae Scalf

Linda Mae Scalf, age 71 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, June 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Dallas E. Scalf; parents, Joseph and Eva Cheek Paxton; and sisters, Kathryn Sue Laprade, Joanne Summitt (Daniel), Judy Dawson. Surviving are her children, Lisa Becerra, Dickie Lee Wilcher, Stephen Wilcher (Betty), Norma Becerra (Manuel), Angel Yetter; step-daughter, Melissa Simmons; grandchildren, Timbo, Christopher, Alberico, Brittany (Bradley), Autumn (Michael), Amber (Harley), Austin (Brittany), Ashley, Brandon, Danielle, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Cody, Miranda, Tiffany (Paul), Sweet Pea; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Delilan, Easton, Julian, rae-lynn, Brittley, Khloe, MacKenzie, Jonhathan, Emersyn, Hayden; brother, William Paxton (Becky); sisters, Barbara Hall (Herbert), Charlotte Goff; and brother-in-law, Danny Laprade. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Thursday with Mr. Richard Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
