Linda Hartman Walker

Linda Hartman Walker, age 66 of Boones Mill, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Adrian Carpenter Hartman; husband, Ernest Junior Walker; and brothers, Donnie and Daniel Hartman. Surviving are her two daughters, Jennifer Vincent (Mark), Amanda Walker; step-daughter, Julie Hick (Brian); step-son, Ernest “Billy” Walker; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Larry Hartman, Betty Durham, Sarah Janey (Ronnie), Ronnie Hartman (Kathy) and Mary Walker (Donald); sister-in-law, Rachel Hartman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda will be remembered for her gift of giving as she was an organ donor and gave the “gift of life”. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel, 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2023 with Dr. Bryan Ratliff officiating. Interment will follow in Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA. Her family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
