Lindsay Brooke Shepard

On April 13, 2015 Lindsay Brooke Shepard of Fort Wayne, IN was called home by Jesus unexpectedly and will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Lindsay was born in Roanoke, VA on December 18, 1984 and is survived by her parents, Gary & Monica A Shepard of Fort Wayne, IN, her brothers Chad and Parker Shepard of Fort Wayne, IN, her grandparents Steve and Vicki Akers of Columbus, OH, Joan Akers of Roanoke, VA, Marv and Joann Shepard of Hickory, NC and her Great Grandmother Florence Akers of Roanoke, VA. Lindsay will be remembered for her concern for helping others and her lively and spunky personality. Her life will be celebrated by family and friends on Monday April 20, 2015 at Flora Funeral Home on 665 South Main Street in Rocky Mount, VA at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The viewing and reception will beginning one hour earlier at 10:00 am. Our thanks to Jesus for allowing us to know and love Lindsay in her short life, and she will always be remembered until we see her again in heaven.
