Lloyd W. Key, Jr., age 64 of Rocky Mount passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lloyd W. Key, Sr. and Lura M. Key. He was the beloved husband of forty-five years to wife, Brenda Key; wonderful father to son, William L. Key and wife, Elizabeth Key and loving grandfather to Olivia and Hannah Key; wonderful father to daughter, Lorra L. Troyer and husband John Troyer and grandchildren, Emma and Eli Troyer; loving brother of Robert Key and sisters, Carolyn Hamel, Nancy Thorsby, Kathy Ward. Mr. Key served as Worship Leader for over 25 years, the last 8 years at Daystar Ministries under Pastor Sammy Caldwell. Faithful Shepherd and precious friend, Pastor Caldwell and wife, Linda who were at your bedside, holding your hands, singing songs about Heaven, when the sound of angel wings were heard as they carried you into the very presence of Jesus.
