Lois Irene Bowman

Lois Irene Bowman, age 86 of Boones Mill passed away at her residence Sunday, September 28, 2025. She was born September 27, 1939 a daughter of the late Ezra and Dorothy Layman. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Marvin Bowman; son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Jeanette; grandchildren, Kirby, Brock and Tonya; siblings, Lowell (deceased) and Miriam, Wayne and Wylenia, David and Judy, Owen and Dorothy, Curtis (deceased) and Betty Selby, Daniel and Teresa; in-laws, Ellis and Rachel Jamison, Ezra Lee and Susie Bowman (both deceased), Orville and Ruth (deceased) Bowman, Loyd and Betty Jamison (both deceased), Dallas and Marilyn Bowman, Tommy and Reva (deceased) Hudson; and special friend, Navella Crumpacker. Funeral services will be held at Oak Hill Old German Baptist Brethren Meetinghouse 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025 with The Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her family will receive friends 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday all at the meetinghouse.
