Lois Marie Hopper

Lois Marie Shively Hopper, 65, passed on June 2, 2021, in Franklin County. She was born June 18, 1955, the daughter of Hillard Shively, Sr. and Elizabeth Drewry Shively. She was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Shively; sister, Pat Sink; daughter, Billie Jo Bandy; and husband, Dwight L. Hopper.

Lois graduated from Franklin County High School, class of 1972. Following graduation, she spent her life around or close to her home place, except when living in Floyd County with Dwight for about 12 years. Lois spent a great deal of time caring for those dearest to her, including Billie Jo, Pat and her Dad. She always knew how to have a good time. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many.

Lois is survived by her brothers, H.C. Shively, Jr. and Danny Wayne Shively; sons, Michael E. Bandy, Jr. and Roger A. Bandy; granddaughters, Cassidy J. Bandy and Charleigh Reamue; and nieces, plus a nephew.
