Lois Carter Perdue

Lois Carter Perdue, age 88 of Wirtz passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024. She was born October 19, 1935 a daughter of the late Henry and Jenny Blankenship Carter. She was also preceded in death by her son, George David Perdue. Mrs. Perdue was retired from MW Windows with 39 years of service. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, dancing and playing her guitar. Surviving are her children, Debra Voss (Dave), Wayne Perdue (Donna), Jerry Perdue (Jennifer) and Eddie Perdue (Kim); daughter-in-law, Caroline Perdue; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jim and Ernestine Hartigan. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Mt. Ivy Christian Church. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024 with Minister Steve Pasley officiating. Interment will follow in the Pagans Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
