Lorene B. Harrison

Lorene Richards Harrison, age 76 of Rocky Mount died Friday, December 11, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Eula Richards; husband, Russell Harrison; son, Gene Harrison; brothers, Delbert, Coy and Hooker Richards. Surviving are her children, Jackie Hale (Sammy), Sue Bolling (Russell), Jane Hall (Glen Draper), Dale Harrison (Teresa), Frankie Harrison, Tony Harrison, Donnie Harrison (Mary); 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother, Casper Richards; and many special friends including, Mary Shelton. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Etholene Johnson and Rev. Liz Lazenby officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
