Louetta Faye Spicer (Toots), a loving wife, mother, and resident of Rocky Mount, VA, prepared to be with the Lord on April 29, 2019 at the age of 77 as she awaits Resurrection Day. Faye is survived by her husband, Charles Spicer Sr., and her three children, Teresa Scott (Kalvin Scott), Charles Spicer Jr (Barbara Spicer), and Johnny Spicer (Jennifer Spicer); her grandchildren, Shannon Chappelle, Brianne Scott, and Katelin, Morgan, Taylor, Cody, Brynlee, and Easton Spicer; her great-grandchild, Abby Chappelle. She also leaves behind numerous special nieces, nephews, and friends. Faye was born in Mercer County, West Virginia on February 13, 1942 to Ollie O’Dell and Nanny Roberts O’Dell. On August 7, 1964, she married the love of her life, Charles Spicer Sr. They were married for almost 55 years. Faye was a devoted wife to Charles, a devoted mother to her children, and a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She absolutely loved to spend time with her family and truly cherished the time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rocky Mount, VA for more than 25 years. She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday May 4 th at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rocky Mount, VA at 2 PM. The family would like to invite everyone to a reception that will be held after the service in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rocky Mount, VA. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff and caregivers of Lewis Gale Medical Center for the exceptional care that she received over the last month.
