Louis James Suffel

Louis James Suffel, age 85 of Rocky Mount died Thursday, May 12, 2016. He was born May 28, 1930 in Fairfax County, Va. Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Shirley Hall Suffel; son, Michael Suffel and wife Martha; grandsons, Phillip Suffel, Chris and wife Shellie Suffel; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon and Joslyn Suffel; and sister-in-law, Marian Ingram and husband Wayne. Mr. Suffel retired with 35 years of service with the Kroger Company. He was a hard worker who loved his family. He also served in the United States Air Force serving during the Korean Conflict. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Memorial Park with Rev. Doug Sasser officiating.
