Louise Mountcastle Ingram, age 73 of Ferrum, passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 after a long battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elbyrne L. (Scorch) Ingram; and her mother, Vergie (Sug) Mountcastle Gamble.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd J. and Beulah M. Ingram, Leon W. and Susan B. Ingram; two granddaughters, Hannah M. (Angel Girl) Ingram, Caroline E. (Baby Doll) Ingram; one grandpuppy, Gizmo; one aunt, Annie M. Hale; many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from Faith Assembly of God Church 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Garlin Strouth officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery near the home.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday with her family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
The family request that memorial donations be made to the Ferrum Fire and Rescue Department or Faith Assembly of God Building Fund.
