Louise Young Jordon, age 69, of Ferrum, died Saturday, December 22, 2007.
She also lived in Roanoke for a number of years. She passed away at her home with her family.
She was retired from the United States Postal Service, and was a member of Fairview Church of the Brethren.
Her family, friends and church were her life.
Mrs. Jordon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Buddy Harold Jordon; daughters, Robbie Jordon Leffue and husband Richard Guthrie Leffue of Boones Mill, Carmen Jordon Martin and her husband Kirk Stanley Martin of Roanoke. Grandchildren, Bambi Danielle Saul, Aija Nicole Saul, Erika Michelle Martin, Jordon (Jordy) Thomas Martin; great-grandson, Eric Dishner. She is also survived by her only sister, Virginia Young Woods, and husband Harold; nephew, Wesley Robertson and wife Edie; nieces, Carolyn Perdue and husband Cliff, Debra Rakestraw and husband Larry, Pam Gibson and husband Larry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00a.m. on Thursday at Fairview Church of the Brethren with Rev. Robert Williard officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
