Lynne Fitts Ellis

Lynne Fitts Ellis, 59, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at her home in Smithfield, North Carolina. Lynne was a free spirit and she was very artistic. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and photography. Anyone who knew Lynne knew her deep love for all animals, especially her dogs. She was so proud to be a grandma.

Lynne is preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Fitts. She is survived by her mother, Mary Fitts; her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren, Tanner, Jenna, Sadie, and Wes Ellis; and brother, Mike Fitts.

In lieu of a memorial service, Lynne wished her ashes to be spread in Chincoteague Island by her son, Tanner. Lynne will rest peacefully where the wild horses run. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
