Lynwood Taft Cannaday, Sr.

Lynwood Taft "Fidge" Cannaday, Sr., age 76 of Ferrum died Saturday, December 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Taft "PT" Cannaday of Ferrum. Surviving are his mother, Mary France Cannaday of Ferrum; son, Lynwood Taft Cannaday, Jr. of Ferrum; daughter, Theresa Lynn Bailey of Rocky Mount; granddaughter, Jessica L. Foy of Bedford; step-children, Danny Rigney, Ronnie Rigney and Cheryl Pagans. Special thanks to all the family, friends and caregivers that helped make his life worth living. Funeral services will be conducted at Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Crossroads Ruritan Club or Waidsboro Ruritan Club. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
