Macie Boitnott

Macie Boitnott, age 82 of Rocky Mount went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lessie Quinn and husband, Lewis Boitnott. She is survived by her children, Michael Prater, Sandy Angle (Tim) and Michael Boitnott (Melissa); grandchildren, Amy Linkenhoker (Troy), Kristie Compton (John), Kayla Sauerbrei (John), Calie Boitnott and Leigha Boitnott-Geer (Tom) along with several great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Margie Hodges. She leaves a great legacy of love and family. To know her was to love her. Her family will receive friends at Flora Funeral Chapel 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024. A private service will follow at a later date. The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for her care. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be provided to the Quinn Family Cemetery Fund. Checks can be made out to Sarah Hambrick and mailed to 1875 Fairy Stone Park Road Ferrum, VA, 24088.
