Mack H. Waid

Mack Henry Waid, age 49 of Martinsville and formerly of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Jane Waid. Surviving are his sister, Sarah Waid; nephew whom he loved dearly, Benjamin H. Waid; many aunts, uncles and cousins including an aunt who was like a second mother, Mildred Taylor. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor Joe Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
