Marcie L. Bowne

Marcie L. Bowne, age 51 of Boones Mill died Tuesday, February 28, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Haddix. Surviving are her husband, David Bowne; son, Tyler Bowne (Gaby); daughter, Savannah Bowne (Jacob); sister, Dena Cappelli (Doug) and their son, Cody; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Michelle Williams (Mike), Stephen Bowne (Tara), Diana Tolentino (Wil); mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jane and Marshall Bowne; extended family, Tony and Sherry Musick; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family and friends including her Carilion family and Francis of Assisi Catholic Church family. Marcie was artistically gifted and was adored by her family and friends who will miss her dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, The American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice. A Mass of Resurrection will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Father Nicholas Mammi officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
