Margaret Nichols Harman, age 83, born December 24, 1934 went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2018. She died peacefully at her home in Westfield, IN. with her daughters by her side. Margaret had two long careers; one as a hair stylist for over 25 years and the other in the office at Kroger for over 22 years before retiring. She married the love of her life Jack Willard Harman on December 15, 1956. Her marriage was blessed with five children, Charlene, Sabrina, Carolyn, Renee and Jacqueline. In 1993, Margaret and Jack fulfilled their lifelong dream. They built their dream home and retired on Smith Mountain Lake, Va. where they joined Halesford Baptist Church. Margaret (Son-in-laws nick-named her Madge) was a loving wife, devoted mother, and servant of God. We will always remember in our hearts Margaret’s passions of gardening, quilting (many children and grandchildren were recipients of her creations), Chinese checkers (we believe she retired undefeated and jumped “tweeners”), playing card games, and her five pride and joys aka “the girls”. Margaret is survived by her five daughters, Charlene (Paul) Davenport of Richmond, Va., Sabrina (Steve) Wooldridge of Carmel. IN., Carolyn (Ivan) Sheffield of Nashville, TN., Sondra Renee (Brad) McMillion of Bluefield, Va., and Jacqueline (Tommy) Valentine of Miami, FL., Nine grandchildren Matthew Davenport, Mark (JennaLee) Wooldridge, Bryce Wooldridge, Jacob (Heather) Sheffield, Alyson (Jason) Williams, Leandra (Bryson) Morlan, Hannah McMillion, Jack and Steven Valentine and 8 great grandchildren.
