Margaret Lynn Ingram

Margaret "Maggie" Lynn (nee Hewett), was lifted into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on November 9, 2021, in Henrico, Va. She was born in Midland, Texas on April 24, 1953, to Una and Joe Hewett Jr.

She was welcomed into her new home by her parents; and her sister, Christi. Maggie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Joe; sons, Rob and Matt; daughter, Sarah (Tommy); and granddaughters, Charlotte and Lola. Maggie is also survived by her sister, Susan Fuller (Ed) of Albuquerque, N.M.; her brother, Bud Hewett (Jackie) of Roswell, N.M.; and a much extended family.

Maggie loved her savior with all her heart and never let a chance go by without telling others about her faith and wonderful, heavenly promises waiting for those who chose to accept Jesus as their personal savior.

A music major and teacher, Maggie loved to worship her Lord and teach others about living out their faith.

Maggie's scriptural foundation was based on "For here is the way God loved the world – he gave his only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life" (John 3:16, the Passion Translation) and "And what is God's "living message"? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation" (Romans 10:9 – 10, the Passion Translation).

Maggie constantly expressed her gratitude for all the prayers, love and support given to her family during her recent illness.

There will be a private family graveside ceremony and a celebration of Maggie's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vessels of Mercy International, www.vesselsofmercy.org .
