Margaret Davis Linkous

Margaret Davis Linkous of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away Monday March 11, 2019. She was born May 3, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Linkous, Sr.; 9 half brothers and sisters, 3 brothers, Gilbert, Norman and Jasper and a sister, Violet Davis Combs. She also leaves behind, brothers Earl Davis and Ranold Davis and wife Mildred; brothers-in-law Victor Combs and Douglas Linkous; sisters-in-law Patricia Woodyard and husband Allen, Phyllis Kirk and husband Harold and Jeanie Linkous, as well as many nieces and nephews. Survivors also include daughter Diane Linkous Worley and husband Earl of Rocky Mount, Va., son Kelvin D. Linkous and wife Debra of Rocky Mount Va., and son Raymond E. Linkous, Jr. and wife Judy of Altavista, Va.; four grandchildren Raymond E. Linkous III of Rock Hill, SC, Clay Linkous of Columbia, Md., Amy Worley and Matt Vann, Douglas Worley and his wife Debbie; great-grandsons Josh, Jacob and Braydon of Rocky Mount, Va., and great-grand­daughters Delma and Douglas Anne of Rocky Mount, Va. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday March 14, 2019 at Goshen Cemetery, Dublin, Va. Reverend Will Waller of Rocky Mount United Methodist Church will officiate.
