Margaret Jenkins Sharpe

Margaret Jenkins Sharpe, age 91 of Glade Hill and formerly of Greensboro, N.C. passed away Friday, December 4, 2009. She was a member of Redwood United Methodist Church where she loved to attend and worship with the church family. Mrs. Sharpe was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sharpe; seven brothers; and sisters. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Cornelius Bullock; two grandsons, Robert Bullock and Cornelius Bullock, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Paige Bullock, Conner Bullock, Sydney Bullock and Cornelius Bullock, III; two sisters, Betty Markham and Ann Decker; number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from Redwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Bradley S. Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park, Greensboro, N.C. at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Southern Virginia Child Advocacy Center, 300 South Main Street, Rocky Mount, Virginia 24151.
