Margie Turner English

Margie Turner English, age 72 of Glade Hill went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 2, 2017 peacefully at her home. Margie was preceded in death by her father, John “Tom” Turner; her mother, Lula Dent Turner; and her baby sister, Sandra “Gaye” Turner all of Glade Hill. She was a member of Wirtz Assembly of God Church where she faithfully attended until her health declined. Margie is survived by her loving and caring daughter, Pattie English. Pattie was her “baby” that was her caregiver and best friend. Also surviving are sisters, Faye Divers, Kathy Dillon and husband Phillip; brothers, Johnnie Turner, Rev. Denver Turner and wife Donna, Calvin Turner and wife “Sue”; her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Kincer, Basil Divers, Alicia Foster, Teresa Turner, John Turner, Marcia Turner, Crystal Tuner; great-nieces and nephews, Lisa Divers, Kristin Divers, Kaitlin Divers, Lindsey Foster, John T. Turner; and her beloved special great-niece, Alexis “Baby Sis” Turner. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 1:00 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will be private at the Turner Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wirtz Assembly of God Church. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
