Marianne M. Key , 72, a 45 year resident of Hyde Park, died on Sunday, January 11th, 2015 at Franklin Health and Rehab in Rocky Mount VA.
Born in Poughkeepsie, New York on October 6th , 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Saraceni Roglieri, who owned and operated the Poughkeepsie Leather Company.
She graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and attended Richard the First Beauty School.
She was married to Robert F. Key for 39 years.
She is survived by her two children, son Christopher S. Key and his wife Lisa Gallante Key and daughter Crystal Attanasio Buffone and her husband Frank Buffone
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Albrie Canfield, Christopher Key, Ashley Key and Emma Attanasio. As well as great grand children , Cody, Sofia, Adriana, Dallas, Brooklyn, Madison, Giovanni, and Levi.
She has 3 surviving siblings, brothers Joseph Roglieri and Vito Roglieri and sister Kathrine Fauci.
She was also pre decesed by a bother , John Roglieri.
Her many accomplishments include serving as Coordinator for Muscular Dystrophy in 3 counties , Orange, Ulster and Dutchess for 25 years. Served as one of the directors for the IBM Country Club while employed at IBM in Poughkeepsie. Volunteered with Child Protective Services against Child Abuse for one election. She also owned and operated businesses Key 2 Beauty, Mad Hatter and The Indian Secret Jewelry Store.
Her family are receiving friends at a Celebration of Life Memorial at United Methodist Church of Hyde Park, 1 Church Street, Hyde Park, NY 12538 on Monday , January 19th, 2015 from 6 -9 pm. Pastor Frank Gallo will speak at 7:30 pm. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
