Marie Ingram Prillaman

Marie Ingram Prillaman, age 100, of Henry, VA. passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at her home in Henry. She was born in Franklin County to the late U.B. and Annie Ingram. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Amos F. Prillaman; daughter, Clara Prillaman; two sisters, Ocie McGhee and Louise Ramsey; three brothers, Beverely Ingram, Clay Ingram, and U.B. Ingram Jr. Surviving to cherish her memory are her son, Amos Ray Prillaman and wife Judy of Henry, VA. and grandson, Jason Prillaman, also of Henry, VA. In her younger years, Marie loved crocheting and hummingbirds. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at Flora Funeral Chapel with David Naff officiating. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Henry, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family requests no food. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Henry Community Center in Henry, VA. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
