Marie Ann Ferguson Tatum
Marie Ann Ferguson Tatum age 67 of Henry, Va. passed away Tuesday August 16, 2011. Marie was born July 26, 1944 in Martinsville, Va. She was a graduate of Stoneville High School class of 1962. She was a homemaker and mother who fought a courageous battle with cancer. Marie was preceded in death by her mother Mabel Ferguson Bryant, father Clemon Jefferson Ferguson and step-father George Bryant. Surviving are her husband Lonnie Ray Tatum, daughter Donna Marie Tatum Morton, son Jeffrey Ray Tatum, daughter-in-law Kelli Thompson Tatum, grandchildren Matthew Cole Tatum, Baylee Marie Ann Morton, Klare Olivia Tatum, Layla Christine Tatum, sister Shirley June Shelton, uncle Dillard Thomas Manuel and his late wife aunt Adina Manuel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Flora Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roger Graves officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are welcome at the home of Gordon and Shirley Tatum following graveside services. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service/ Cremation Center Rocky Mount.
