Marjorie Collins

Marjorie Stocks Collins, age 89 of Rocky Mount went to be with her heavenly father in the early morning hours of May 4, 2024. Born in Greenville, NC on August 26, 1934 to Hubert G. and Alice Moye Stocks, she was the only girl of six children. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Rev. Patrick Collins, who passed away on April 15, 2020. She is survived by two brothers, Donald Stocks (Joyce) and Stuart Stocks, both of Greenville, NC; two sons, Patrick Marsh Collins, Jr. and wife Donna, and Anthony Collins and wife Donna Boles; four grandchildren, Brandon Collins (Christine), Nicole “Toni” Quick (special friend Jeff), Austin Collins, and Allison Hebb (TJ). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Christopher Collins, Audrey Quick, and Luke and Levi Hebb. She was actively involved in churches that her husband Patrick served in during his 56 years of ministry. She loved to read and sew. She loved seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to Cardinal Senior Living and Affinity Hospice. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Furnace Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Collins and Rev. J.
