Mark Lee Mattox (Train), age 53 of Rocky Mount, died Sunday, May 11, 2008.
He was born on December 4, 1954. Mark was a very loving and caring person. He loved being outdoors and was also a big #3 fan. He will be greatly missed, but will forever be remembered by all.
Mark was preceded in death by his brother and best friend, Tony Mattox.
Surviving are his parents, Hayward and Jean Mattox; sisters, Betsy Gallatin and Lorie (Fred) Wiseman; nieces and nephews, Brad Aker, Jarad and Brianna Gallatin, Magen, Freddie, Ethen Wiseman, and Dawn (Bradford) Brown.
Graveside services will be conducted from Franklin Memorial Park 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor John Collins and Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating.
His family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Rocky Mount First Church of the Brethren.
