Mark Edward Rakes, age 63 of Roanoke died Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born November 30, 1960 a son of the late Zellar and Margaret Hall Rakes. Surviving are his sister, Ann Jefferson (Randy); and special friend, Bobby. There will be no services. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
