Marshall Ray Pugh, Sr.

Marshall Ray Pugh, Sr., age 69 of Rocky Mount died Monday, August 13, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Eva Coffey Pugh; and sister, Macie Potter. Surviving are his wife, Carol Pugh; children, Marshall “Ray” Pugh, Jr., Malisa Pugh Rakestraw; grandchildren, Amber Pugh, Chelsea Rakestraw, Alyssa Rakestraw; nieces and nephews, Robert Potter, Ronald Potter, Carolyn Hartless. He was a member of Faith Fellowship Church and a US Army Veteran. Marshall retired as manager of Roses after 20 years of service. Funeral services will be conducted from Faith Fellowship Church 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Gary Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. His family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
