Marvin Leonard Angel

Marvin L. Angel, 70 of Salem passed away Friday, January 02, 2015. Marvin was a beloved brother and was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace T. Angel and his mother Bertha Whitlock Angel. Surviving are his brothers, W. Allen Angel (Charlene) and Jerry W. Angel (Carol); sisters, Elizabeth Burgess (Liz), Elinor G. Young, Evelyn Brown (Dale) and Nobledean Sarver (Ronnie); a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at Fairmont Baptist Church (1669 Bethlehem Road, Boones Mill, Va. 24065) 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2015 with Pastor Leonard Castleman and Pastor James Bergquist officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in church cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church.
