Marvin Dell Mines

Marvin Dell Mines, age 59 of Rocky Mount passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 7, 2016 with his loving companion of 10 years Patti Henson of Clearwater, Florida where they lived until they returned to Virginia in 2014. Dell was born in Roanoke, VA on August 27, 1956 and moved to Clearwater, FL in 1981. He now joins his parents, Marvin and Jane Mines; and brother, Jimmy in heaven. Dell leaves behind his sister, Hazel-Diane Bernard (husband Gordon); brother, Barry Mines (wife Susie); two nieces, Renee Martone and Amber Mines; one nephew, Chris Tolley; and two great-nephews, Logan and Ethan Tolley. Dell loved all animals, rescuing many over the years. He loved the mountains of Virginia but his greatest love was fishing on the Gulf of Mexico where he spent time as a fishing guide.
