Marvin Clinton Peterson, age 74 of Rocky Mount died Sunday, February 10, 2008.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy L. Peterson; his sons and daughters-in-law, Carl Peterson and friend Sue Hicks, Curtis and Marion Peterson, Michael and Connie Peterson; daughter and son-in-law, Lorrie and Keith Bailey; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step grandsons; four great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; brothers, Charlie and Linda Peterson, Willie Peterson; sister-in-law, Nadele Smelser; special nephew, David Kelly and wife Becky; special niece, Dana and Paul Ripley.
Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 with Rev. John Graybill and Pastor Jerry Naff officiating.
Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service, 665 South Main Street, Rocky Mount.
