Mary Elizabeth Addison, 71 of Ferrum went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 16, 2007.
She was a member of Prillaman Switch Baptist Church and a faithful and devoted wife and mother who volunteered for the needy and served the Lord everyday.
Mrs. Addison was a friend to all and will be missed very much.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 48 years, Isaiah A. Addison; her children and their spouses, Keith and Aberach Addison, Lynchburg, Terry Addison, Philadelphia, PA, Darral and Sharon Addison, Lands Down, PA, David Addison, Durham, NC, Michael Addison, Royersford, PA, Peter and Anita Addison, Cheltonenham, PA; eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted from the Addison Family Cemetery on Lighthaven Road 2 p.m. Friday with Pastor Kendell Smith officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service, Rocky Mount.
