Mary Jane Blankenship

Mary Jane Blankenship, age 67 of Glade Hill went to be with her Lord on February 22, 2023. For over three years she had been battling several health issues including cancer. Preceding her in death were her parents, Lewis and Estelle Austin; and brother, Timmy. Mary Jane leaves behind to cherish her memories her partner of 22 years Robert Pegram; her beloved sister, Margie Carter and husband Leslie; and special friends, Patty Sigmon, Timmy Mullins and the Golden Girls. She also leaves behind the one that made her smile the most, her cat Gracie, and their dog Jake. We would like to give special thanks to Hope Duncan, Antonia Marini, and the nurses from Amedisys Health Care and Hospice for their compassion and caring in her final days. Mary Jane will be dearly missed by all who loved her. It was Mary Jane's request for no visitation or service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
