Mary M. Johnson

Mary M. Johnson, age 94 of Callaway died Friday, February 14, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Dennis Johnson; infant daughter, Barbara; parents, Charlie and Sarah Mullins; several brothers and sisters. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and John Turner, Brenda and Jim Garber; two sons and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Pat Johnson, Claude Johnson; former daughter-in-law, Faye McGuire; grandchildren , Mark and Karen Turner, Sonya and Bill Odell, Laurie and Danny Adams, Pamela and Timmy Holcomb, Chad and Birdie Garber, Michelle and Marvin Bright, Inglath and Mac Cooper, Brent and Karmela Johnson, Dan and Rita Johnson; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Garber, Owen Bright, Totti, Lola, Nadia and Kavvi Cooper, Katelyn Holcomb, J.T. Hall, Leslie Hall, Mackenzie Hall, Alex, Beth and Devin Johnson; great-great-grandchild, Ethan Hall. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial donations may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Dr. William Shively and Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
