Mary Louise Woody, 79 of Rocky Mount passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bug Hammock; husband, William Woody, Jr. and a brother, Lubie Hodges. Surviving are her son, David Hodges (Raleigh); special niece, Virginia Hodges and family; many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 from the Hodges Family Cemetery with Chaplain Rick Poland officiating. Her family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm Friday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
