Mary Poindexter Marlowe

Mary P. Marlowe, 73 of Union Hall went to be with the Lord after her battle with cancer Saturday, May 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Marlowe; son, Carl Wayne Marlowe; grandson, Nick (Nicholas) Marlowe; parents Birkwood and Aurie Poindexter.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children Kathy Tench(Keith), Mary Dale Mitchell (Hubert), Eddy Marlowe (Missy) and Morty Marlowe(Jennifer); six grandchildren, Christy(Gary) ,Kim(Mike), Amy(Travis), Deanna, Ryan(Samantha) and Faith; 20 great-grandchildren, Travis, Kurstin, Brady, Haily, Easton, Madison, Sam, Jacob, Alexus, Kyle, Alyssa, Dakota, Alyssa, Jacoby, Micheal, Seraphenia, Kaleb, Lil Blake, Sherman and Helena; two brothers, Virgil Poindexter and Glen Poindexter; numerous special friends; two step-grandchildren, Cullen and Katie. Special thanks to Pastor B. Sung and his wife Jenny, and mom’s hospice nurses, Sharon, Karen and Jewell. In lieu of flowers, the family ask to make donations to Penhook Methodist Church, 29 Morgan’s Fork Road, Penhook, VA 24137.
