Mary Hodges Rigney

Mary Hodges Rigney, age 76 of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Kathleen Hodges; daughter, Sandra Rigney; granddaughter, Nikki Davidson; brother, Edward Hodges; and father of her children, Sam Rigney. Surviving are her children, Jeanneane Davidson (Jerry), Otis Rigney, Donna Perdue (Wayne); grandchildren, Gina Davidson, Kaylee Perdue, Devin Turner, Samuel Rigney, Ryan Rigney, Colton Rigney and Tyler Rigney; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl, Calvin and JD Hodges; sisters, Suzie Chisom, Betty Prillaman and Frances Smith; along with numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Rigney Family Cemetery on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.
