Mary Lee Rutrough

Mary Lee (Brunk-Heffley) Rutrough, age 78 of Rocky Mount, VA passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Leanna Brunk; her first husband, Paul Heffley; five grandchildren; brothers, John Brunk, Roscoe Brunk and Daniel Brunk. She is survived by her husband, Albert Rutrough; children, William (June) Heffley, Robert (Christine) Heffley, Virginia Heffley, Emma Heffley, Alice (Jerry) Skiles, Ruth Heffley; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; five step-children, Christine (Robert) Heffley, Lorraine (Ray) Hubbard, Gordon (Carla) Rutrough, Sharon Rutrough, Mollie (Andrew) Adams; 14 step-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Randolph (Arlene) Brunk, David (Julia) Brunk; sister, Martha (Paul) Rumble; sisters-in-law, Fannie Brunk, Wilma Brunk, Marie Brunk. Visitation will be Sunday 6-9 p.m. and Monday 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday 9:30 a.m. all at Mountain View Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting House, 249 Dugwell Rd. Boones Mill VA 24065. Interment will be in Waynesboro PA. In lieu of flowers consider American Cancer Society or Gentle Shepherd hospice.
