Mary Jane Simmons

Mary Jane Simmons, age 67 of Rocky Mount died Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her son, Terry W. Simmons; brother, Thomas Ferguson; and sisters, Dorothy Blankenship and Betty Myers. Surviving are her children, Ora Ann F. Hodges and husband Jeffrey, Patricia Gail Ferguson Jaimes, Travis Lee Simmons; grandchildren, Jeffrey C. Hodges “J.C.”, Dusty W. Hodges, Brandy N. Ferguson, Bradley L. Ferguson “Buck”; great-grandchildren, Adreanna, Brianna, Selena, Estrella, Luna-Luz; brothers and sisters, Garnette Fitzgerald, Billy W. Ferguson, Ronnie S. Ferguson; and special dog, Bones. Funeral services will be conducted from Henry Fork Church of the Brethren 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Family Cemetery. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Fork Church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
