Mary Jones Turner

Mary Jones Turner, age 93 of Ferrum passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013. She retired from Ferrum College Cafeteria after many years of service and was a member of New Life Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Benjamin Turner; and sons, Ralph Mitchell Turner and Kemper Turner. Surviving are her son, Michael Turner and wife Patricia; daughter-in-law, Shelby Turner; sister, Vivian Peters; grandson, Bradley Turner and wife Monica; step-granddaughter, Connie Wray; great-grandchildren, Abby, Bryce, and Ty; step-great-grandchildren, Stephanie Hodges (Taw) and Brittany Wray; sister-in-law, Mildred Jones; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted from the Jones Family Cemetery 2 p.m. Tuesday. Her family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at Flora Funeral Service & Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
