Mary Emma Waldron Nichols

Mary Emma Waldron Nichols went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 11, 2013. Mary was born on April 18, 1921 in Callaway, where she lived for most of her 92 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Lewis, her siblings, Sam Waldron, Nat Waldron, Goodwin Waldron, Kate Mills, Trudy Norton, Lou Beckner, Alma Bunn and Gladys Holt. She is survived by her children, Betty Dickson, Mary Anne Martin (Eugene "Butch"), Bonnie Shelton (Luck),, William L. " Billy" Nichols (Barbara), Dale Nichols (Marilyn), Donna Grantham (Mike) and Mona Hodges (Bobby). She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, Denise, Beverly, Leslie, Herman, Kenny, Johnny, Lewis, Shannon, Brian, W. D., Dean, Michael Dale, Chad, Angela, John, Scott, Keith, Brad, Toni and Allison. Also surviving are 29 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. One sister-in-law, Clarice Waldron, also survives Mrs. Nichols along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was a long time member of Faith Fellowship Church, where she enjoyed socializing with her church family. Visitation for Mrs. Nichols will be held at Faith Fellowship Church from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday, July 13th. Her funeral will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Fairmont Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Hoffman presiding. A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery alongside her beloved Lewis with Pastor Leonard Castleman officiating.
