Marybelle St. Clair Moore of Glade Hill, VA died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the age of 84. She was born on August 2, 1932 to Samuel Howard and Mary Pauline Lloyd St. Clair. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Moore; son, David Moore; an infant son; and son-in-law, Sam Weddle. She leaves behind her children, Judy Weddle, Marsha Housman (Tommy), Tommy Moore (Jo), Clay Moore (Pam), Greg Moore (Janice), Shari Bower; a special granddaughter, Michelle Bondurant (Jay); daughter-in-law, Kathy Moore; son-in-law, Mark Bower; sister-in-law, Alice Weddle St. Clair. She also leaves behind 11 more grandchildren; one step-grandchild; nine great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and many cherished nieces and nephews. Mom was a hard worker, living and raising seven children on a tobacco and dairy farm with Dad. She lived an honest life putting everyone above herself. She was a firm believer of God Almighty and Jesus Christ, knowing her Heavenly Home was waiting for her. The family asked there be no food or visitation at the home. Flowers will be accepted or a donation in mom's name may be given to Carilion Franklin Hospice, 180 Floyd Avenue, Suite 304/314, Rocky Mount, VA. 24151. Funeral services will be conducted from Flora Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Denver Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Moore Family Cemetery on the family farm. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
